Dress Code
A tidy, safe dress code helps every athlete move freely and train with confidence.
Proper attire keeps our athletes safe and lets instructors see body lines and technique clearly. Please arrive dressed and ready for class.
Ballet
- Tights
- Ballet pink.
- Shoes
- Ballet slippers (canvas or leather), full sole until age 12.
- Leotard
- Ballet leotard — optional wrap skirt.
- Hair
- Slicked back into a low bun.
- Boys
- White shirt or black bodysuit, black tights or shorts, black ballet shoes.
All other dance classes
- Tights
- None.
- Shoes
- Bare feet for acro, tumbling, modern and aerial. Jazz shoes for jazz. Bare feet or half-soled ballet shoes for lyrical.
- Leotard
- Black — optional black leggings or dance shorts.
- Hair
- Secured in a slick low bun, or a french or dutch braid.
Musical theatre (Broadway Bound)
- Tights
- None.
- Leotard
- Black, any style — optional black leggings or dance shorts.
- Shoes
- Skin-tone dance heels.
- Hair
- Secured in a slick low bun, or a dutch or french braid.
Cheer
- Shoes
- Cheer shoes — all white, soft-soled.
- Top
- Tight-fitting athletic wear (required for safety): crop top, sports bra, leotard or tight athletic tank — black.
- Bottoms
- Rehearsal skort, shorts or leggings — black.
- Hair
- High ponytail or bun. A bow may be worn.
