Studio Policies

The essentials that keep our studio safe, fair and running smoothly for every family.

Refund policy

Tuition paid in full is refundable with one month's notice. Costume fees are non-refundable once costumes have been ordered, and recital and competition fees are non-refundable.

Private lesson fees are refundable with 24 hours' notice of cancellation. No refunds are issued for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Photo & video release

Photos and videos of students may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. By enrolling your child, you consent to the use of their images. To opt out, let us know through the parent portal or by email.

Code of conduct

Students are expected to show respect to instructors and peers at all times — listening attentively, following instructions and keeping a positive attitude. Disruptive behaviour may result in disciplinary action.

Parents help by encouraging their child and respecting studio policies. Please raise any concerns privately with studio staff or the director. Every athlete and parent signs the Code of Conduct Form yearly.

Health & safety

Students should stay home when they're feeling unwell, especially with symptoms of a contagious illness — and please let us know about illness-related absences.

All injuries must be reported to the office immediately. We complete an incident report and notify parents when an injury happens in class; in a serious injury, emergency services are called.

Dress code enforcement

Students must follow the dress code at all times. For safety, non-compliance may mean sitting out of class until proper attire is worn.

Inclement weather

We follow the School District for closure procedures. Weather cancellations are shared by email, on our social media and on the website. Refunds are not given for weather cancellations; if a class has three or more, we'll do our best to provide a make-up day.

Make-up classes

Classes cancelled by the studio will be offered a make-up. Classes cancelled due to weather or acts of god are not made up. Classes missed for statutory holidays, school closures or by the student are not made up.

Withdrawal

To withdraw from a class, please notify the office in writing 30 days in advance. Tuition is prorated based on the notice period, and any prepaid tuition beyond it is refunded.
