Miya Stubbs

Miya Stubbs started dancing and performing when she was just two years old. Over the past 11 years, she has danced in a variety of genres and developed a particular fondness for ballet and modern styles.
She has been competing at the local and provincial levels since age nine, with notable achievements including being awarded Star Talents Provincial Finalist for the top-scoring Junior Modern piece in 2024. She holds dance qualifications, having completed her IDST and ballet exams up to the Intermediate Foundation level. She has also taken an interest in the cheer community, recently finishing her first season as a flyer with the Phoenix team.
Away from dance, her interests include camping, fishing, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is enthusiastic about teaching the younger generation about the beauty of dance with empathy and kindness.
